Challenge

Vodafone launched their new brand positioning ‘Together we can’, which celebrates the power of the human spirit working together with technology. Our job? To capture what that meant for employees, define how it would look and feel, and empower Vodafone teams from around the world to create their own employer branding assets.

Solution

On the back of extensive internal and external research, we created a framework that captured the most compelling reasons to work at Vodafone. Once our Employer Value Proposition was in place, we started exploring the new brand. We defined imagery styles, developed headline structures and even ran a global photo competition of employees WFH to give ourselves a brilliant image library to work with.

With the messaging and creative sorted, we developed a comprehensive Playbook that set out the thinking behind the employer brand, along with clear ground rules to follow. Then we made a Toolkit full of simple, drag-and-drop templates that enabled anyone at Vodafone to start making their own assets.

Results

  • 127% increase in number of people who signed up for the talent community

  • 57% increase in applications

  • 30% increase in careers site visitors
